Hmmmm. I love John Piper but I can see this application being stretched even further out of context. A non-Christian could say - then why don't you just walk around in plain simple clothing and uniforms? Why wear dress suits and fancy dresses to church which showcase your individuality and draw more attention to self than is needed.
