A new and upcoming online fashion publication (based in Washington, D.C) is in need of Executive-level staff and Interns to contribute to its production. We are aiming to launch the first issue mid-February to late March and move forward with individuals who possess a genuine love of fashion and want to assist us in making our mark in the fashion industry!

We are looking to fill the following positions and would love to hear from you! The positions are as follows:

-FASHION EDITOR (Some responsibilities are):
1. Works to promote modern features for the fashion pages;
2. Manage photo shoots, generate current story ideas, manage stylists and prop-closet inventory.

-EDITORIAL ASSISTANT (Some responsibilities are):
1. Correcting manuscripts and writing articles if needed;
2. Aid in brainstorming sessions.

-STAFF WRITER (Some responsibilities are):
1. Contribute to team meetings regarding new projects, suggesting ideas and brainstorming;
2. Proof-read the work of other writers.

-RESEARCHER (Some responsibilities are):
1. Heavy research through the internet for story ideas, writing and some interviewing;
2. Prepare background information for staff writers and editors;

AND OF COURSE, INTERNS WHO ARE INTERESTED IN EITHER THE FASHION, PR AND/OR RESEARCH DEPT.

QUALIFICATIONS:
-MOTIVATED, DETAIL-ORIENTED, TENACIOUS WITH INTENSE DRIVE TO SUCCEED;
-ACCESS TO COMPUTER AND FREQUENT ACCESS TO E-MAILS AND INTERNET;
-ABILITY TO WORK WELL BOTH INDEPENDENTLY AND WITHIN A TEAM;
-GREAT COMMUNICATION, COMPUTER SKILLS;
