Help with Starting a Non-for Profit.

Hello everyone, I need some help with information on how to start a non-profit Organization. I believe that lord as given me a mission to help the poor. I have prayed about it and me and my husband have decided to move ahead.

Been I know alot of organizations are here, I have come to ask for your help with information on how to do this step by step to get it established.

Here are some questions I have asked and would love to know how you get it on the books to make it right by law.

1. What is the first step, saying you have a name for it already?

2. Where do you go to register the name?

3. What do they require to get this organization registered?

4. About how much will it cost to get it registered?
