Fashion “forward” gurus have flashed “back.” This 80’s style emergence has been dominating the men’s runway and is demanding some attention. This has come as no surprise, in Ecclesiastes 1:9 NIV it says “What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.”

The slim pant or skinny jean is no longer an association made with the “homely” or “out of touch” but is a sign of “in tune” conformity.

Some men would say slim pants have a “slim chance” of making it into their closet. Though this design is trendy it has a biased approach in its wear ability.

Slim pants are more complimentary to a slim frame hence the name. So, if you are a gentleman with a stocky build and would like to stay updated with the trends…opt for a straight leg jean as opposed to a relaxed fit or boot cut. The silhouette will have a similar effect without making you look like you are bursting at the seams.
