Shifting Gears

As the weather warms up it is time to take another look at what is considered acceptable outwear. The unpredictability of the weather can make you leery but it is safe to say that the thermal gear of yesterday can be nicely tucked away.

If it has holes and the color is washed out, it is time to say goodbye anyway. As the seasons change we often neglect to do an inspection of our gear and allow our fondness of the garment to carry us until the season returns. If you are that attached and it is salvageable, get it repaired now while you are not in need of it.

Thank God that He never shifts gears, always protecting and always providing…Hebrews 1:11-12 (The Message) You, Master, started it all, laid earth's foundations, then crafted the stars in the sky. Earth and sky will wear out, but not you; they become threadbare like an old coat;  You'll fold them up like a worn-out cloak, and lay them away on the shelf. But you'll stay the same, year after year; you'll never fade, you'll never wear out.
