Nothing is as visually appealing as a sharp dressed man
ready to cut the world's runway! Men are discovering
this and looking to diversify their wardrobes. Wardrobe diversity
is not complex. And it need not cost you a fortune to be sharp,
stylish and ready for anything .
First, take inventory of your lifestyle. Create wardrobe essentials
based on your lifestyle needs. No matter the diversity of your life
your wardrobe should reflect it.
- A good dark suit. The pieces can be worn with other items
for a wider range of outfits and you have it when you need it.
- The classic white button-down shirt - Keep it white!
Stains and discoloration are not acceptable.
- Black shoes, socks and a black belt are vital to helping
tie everything together. A set a brown shoes, socks and tie is
added preservatives.
- A few printed and solid colored ties. Solid ties are
versatile. Printed ties add diversity.
- Blue or brown sports jacket. Excellent for year-round
and coordinates well other items. A nice Sport coat will dress up
or down an outfit.
- Khakis and jeans. No explanation needed. Both are a
staple.
- A Couple of Casual Shirts. Polo or button down—another
staple to be worn with any pants.
- Start simple,
buy on sale and expand. Be creative. Mix and match.
1) Versatile your style with a sports coat and swap different color
shirt and ties
2) 3 Dark Jeans Combo Coming
Up:
- Cashmere sweater for casual-chic
- Sweater, collared shirt and tie
- Sweater, collard shirt no tie
- 3) Create a classic look still with
the same sports or blazer with button up worn inside with a belt or
outside no belt
But what a man wears on the outside is secondary to what he wears
on the inside. A well dressed man with a dirty heart might as well
be wearing a garbage can. Who we are on the inside eventually
becomes evident on the outside—and not even a $5000.00 suit created
by New York’s master suit maker William Fioravanti, will hide that.
So before you worry about what to wear, invest time with God and
make sure your heart is clean. It makes the greatest impact,
whether your clothes come from a second hand store or carry a name
brand label.
