This classic beauty is one of fashions finest creations. Men look daring and debonair in a well fitted fedora. Woman, well sisters it a whole new space in the closet for this stylish accessory. And no one in recent history has caused such a fuss about a hat as the Queen of Soul herself, legendary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Aretha Franklin, when she took the stage and dazzled the world with her rendition of "My Country 'Tis of Thee" at President Obama’s spectacular inauguration.

South Korean immigrant and Custom Hat Designer, Luke Song's Detroit hat shop has been flooded with requests for the gray, felt hat with a Swarovski rhinestone-bordered bow was hand-molded and would cost upward of $500—if it were for sale. He was not prepared for the outpouring of requests from women wanting that hat. "They want the same hat, but they understand, it's for the 'Queen' only," said Song, a South Korean immigrant. "Ninety-nine percent said, 'That's fine. I'll get the next best thing.' "
