God Given Apparel is making a mark on the
fashion and media industry. CEO ROBERT YARBOROUGH and his brother
VP GERALD C. YARBOROUGH are devoted to endorsing the truth that
Jesus Christ is Lord through the God Given clothing ministry.
Their Story
Two brothers - no relationship. Both received Christ as their Lord
and Savior in the same year at two different churches. In separate
locations, leading separate lives, neither knew that God was
simultaneously at work in the other performing heart surgery for
them to join forces to spread the Gospel. That is so God!
Apparel
All of their apparel are biblically based. They take the scriptures
and bring it into a new light merging it with modern themes.
Perfect example – Take their best selling t-shirt labeled Rated JC.
They took something as familiar as a movie rating logo and
transformed it into a ministry tool. How do you become rated Jesus
Christ? Romans 10:9 says it all - believe, confess, receive the
gift of salvation.
"People become walking billboards and tend to
copy people and lifestyles. Our brand represents a Christ like
lifestyle so of course we want people to copy this
lifestyle."
Originally starting out as t-shirt company, God Given's inventory
now large and ever expanding includes bags, outerwear, hats, track
suits, you name it. God Given prides on having the best materials,
the strongest designs and staying in touch with fashion trends and
the people. In their arsenal of "Coming Soon" designs are God Given
sneakers, watches, jeans and more.
It is apparent that God Given does not not lack vision and they are
not afraid of the broadest scope of their vision.
"The biggest
thing that sets us apart is that we are not a novelty line - we are
a lifestyle brand. We never make a design that meanly caters to
Christians or believers but for the world in whole."
Robert and Gerald say that God wants them to always be prepared to
be a blessing. Some are designed for believers who are strong in
the Word. Some are for the everyday consumer, but no matter what
the design we pray that someone is continually blessed.
