Hats are the signature piece! They make a statement like
no other individual accessory. And they do it with such
panache. The Fedora is one of he most popular hats
of all times. It is a hat that was made popular by Hollywood
detectives and gangsters. And here I thought my grandpa made the
tear drop straw fedora with the black band famous!
Ironically a fedora was originally a women's fashion into the 20th century, the fedora came into use in about 1920, as a men's upper-class clothing accessory. Its popularity soared, and eventually it eclipsed the similar-looking Homburg A homburg is a stiff felt hat characterized by a single dent running down the center of the crown and a brim fixed in a tight, upwards curl. It is superficially similar to the trilby or Fedora ; trilbys and fedoras, however, have soft, "snappable" brims and can have various designs "pinched" into the crown, whereas the shape of a homburg is... by the 1930s. Fedoras are created in nearly every color imaginable, but black, grey, tan, brown, and red remain the most popular. The rich and famous made Fedora’s a symbol of money and power.

Traditionally it was made from rabbit hair felt, but is now sometimes made from other materials, including tweed and wool.... hat is somewhat similar to a fedora, but typically has a shorter brim, and the back of the brim is distinctively more sharply upturned as a result.
Today the fedora is equally popular with men and women and looks equally adorable on both. Be it the fedora or any other head covering we need to be focused the one thing we, the believer wear on our heads is the helmet of salvation—the same life giving salvation that was bought at the ultimate price of the blood of the King of Glory. Wear it well.
