Dress Code for Winter

Jorrie Muniz - Creative Writer
The only proper way for a gentleman to wear a scarf is anyway he feels comfortable—Draped, knotted, wrapped, flipped, twisted, opened or looped with a one side hang. Men don’t have or need many accessories but what they do have can be fun and sexy. And scarves add that needed snap of interest and color to any outfit.  They can be worn with a blazer, sweater, or overcoat. The possibilities are as vast as your creative imagination!

  • The first move is to make sure that the scarf has a matching, complimentary factor going on with the rest of your outfit.
  • Purchase scarves in various colors, patterns and materials: cashmere, silk, wool…to inject some style into your wardrobe. Scarves are stylish and go with everything. And make certain the length is long enough to tie and wrap with.

  • Amazingly we are witnessing first hand a startling and much needed fashion shift for men. Men are taking a serious interest in their personal fashion style and really going after that sharp, mysterious gentleman look that women love!

Protecting your neck is important in the cold winter months depending on where you live, as well as making a bold and suave fashion statement. In Proverbs 3:3 God speaks of a man’s neck: Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. So every time you stylishly drape that scarf around your neck remember to bind love and faithfulness around it too. That same love and faithfulness towards God will carry a man through anything life deals him. View the "How To Tie Your Scarf With Style Video Here
