In fashion, it does not matter what
“It” is, because
“It” is all about keeping
“It” as Oukast said it best,
'so fresh and
so clean'. Be it the button-up, satin blouse, the little black
dress, the double breasted 3-piece, black T’s or your personal
self! Personal hygiene is of the highest priority . And nothing is
more of a turn-off than the lack of it.
Pearly whites, Listerine strip breath or a waxed body can add more
sex appeal to any fashion statement or take from it, than all
else.
A LARGE part of fashion is the presentation. Presenting an Anna
Osmushkina labeled outfit with a sweat stained, straight out the
gym body is like spritzing a splash of pricey designer perfume
while wearing a used garbage bag—definitely not the statement you
want to exhibit. And believe me you will make a lasting
impression…perhaps too long.
Same rules apply for spiritual couture. If you have made the choice
to don the clean white robe of Jesus Christ—make every effort to
keep it that way. Head to the dumpster ridding the ignorant and
vulgar language. Replace it with the Creator's creative
linguistics. Stray from the cheap and easy presentations. Exhibit
self-respect. Use stain blocker or removal for your spiritual
attire. That robe of righteousness what bought with a priceless
tag—the precious blood of Jesus Christ, because He loves you right
where you are.
