What's the Difference between Style and Fashion?

When I think of fashion, I think of what's "in"... what the latest trend or design is...and that's usually based on season and what the fashion icons are wearing.

When I think of style, I think of your own take on the current fashion. Kind of... how you incorporate the latest designs into your wardrobe. Style is about individualism and self-expression. Fashion is a guide for style (or for some more like a law to follow). It can give you new ideas. Ultimately, everyone has their own style...how they put together their outfit, how they match, what statement they want to make, etc. and that may or may not change with/adapt to the current fashion.

Basically. Style = individual's dress choice. Fashion = what many people are wearing/the STYLE of dress many people are adopting.

Well being the expert that i am...Fashion ,is a person or group acception of what is ok to wear which is usually determined by whats on the runway, but is not limted to just that thats why some peole are fashion followers and others are trend setters.Style on the other hand is how that person or group of people put their fashion together to wear.Just to keep it short and sweet!

For me personally, Style is the most important part of my day. I will not step out of the house unless I am impeccable. I once spoke to a friend of mine who is a make-up artist and learned that she spends less time preparing if she's going to the grocery store or a drive-thru window for a quick breakfast. I reminded her that she has to market her business at all times no matter how less important you make think it is or who you may think is not watching. Someone is always watching us and we have to be the first recipient of our Gift. All it takes is 7 (God's number of completion) seconds to make that first impression. Make those 7 seconds count!

Remember, you are the unspoken dialogue of your very own Pulitzer prize-winning novel. How do you want your story to read?

Fashion fades and changes with the seasons. Your wardrobe is every changing because of what stylist predict is the latest and greatest asset to have in your wardrobe.

Style is eternal and it comes from within. You don't learn it, you're just born with it.

100% agreed! Fashion is passing. Style is eternal.

Fashion is what is displayed on the outside only while style is comes from the inside out.

Style is applying your own personal swagger to fashion.

Compare the parallel of fashion and style with 2 Corinthians 4:18.
